Question
What is Cloudboot?
Environment
OnApp
Answer
Cloudboot refers to a type of Compute Resource (HV) which is booted from an image generally hosted on the Control Panel server. Cloudboot HVs are required for the use of OnApp Integrated Storage.
Additional Info
Since these are booted from an image, some configurations will not be saved after reboots. However, you can use "Custom Config" to effectively save configurations. The custom config executes as a script on the HV any time it is booted.
