How does CDN Redirection work?

Answer
The CDN redirection should direct the HTTP request to the FASTEST pop available. The "FASTEST" pop is determined by using the ping latency between the available CDN edge servers and the end user DNS IP address.
DNS IP address is used instead of the browser IP address because the redirection decision has to be made on the DNS level, before it redirects to the CDN edge server where we get the browser IP.
