Question
Does OnApp CDN support HTTP/2?
Environment
OnApp CDN
Answer
OnApp CDN supports HTTP/2. This setup is enabled automatically on all our CDN edge servers.
In order to make use of HTTP/2, the CDN resource needs to deliver the content in HTTPS (it can be enabled with shared ssl "*.r.worldssl.net" or using SNI SSL).
The standardization effort was supported by Chrome, Opera, Firefox, Internet Explorer 11, Safari, Amazon Silk and Edge browsers. You should notice the HTTP/2 header when you serve the CDN content with HTTPS via these browsers There is no further setup on the Origin web server.
