Question
How I can use HTTPS for my Pull CDN Resource?
Answer
Typically, the Pull CDN Resource is working over a non-secure connection. However, some secure contents or applications, for example Facebook, may require you to use HTTPS secure connection. You can use our shared SSL hostname (worldssl.net) to support secure connection.
Instruction:
- Create a HTTP resource name, [anything].r.worldssl.net (no special character allowed, alphanumeric only)
- Fill in the origin and create the CDN Resource.
- Ignore all CNAME instructions.
- When config is propagated, you may test your CDN resource by typing in https://[anything].r.worldssl.net/your.png
Note: [anything] should be one word. For example: "onapp.r.worldssl.net" is valid, "www.onapp.com.r.worldssl.net" is NOT valid.
Custom SSL is also supported in OnApp CDN, kindly submit your request to support@onapp.com.
