onappstorebond isn't created, MTU isn't changed

Issue

The bonding mode configured for "SAN bonding mode" in Compute Resource settings is not applied, MTU remains at 1500. This affects CentOS 7 KVM Compute Resources in case using user bonds in custom config, though, it works as expected with one NIC assigned to a storage network or without custom config.

 

Resolution

In order to overcome the issue, add the following command to a custom config before user bonding scripts:

sleep 60

 

Cause

The cause is related to how OnApp creates onappstorebond interface, and it may cause incompatibilities when using custom config bonding scripts. This will be fixed in the future releases.
