Why are my Cloudboot HVs not running the latest kernel?

Answer
Critical security updates are backported to the cloudboot platform. Due to the nature of the Integrated Storage platform and the uptime requirements, we have to always maintain backwards compatibility to ensure that all (non-kernel) updates are live upgradeable without imposing upgrade requirements. For this reason, the kernel versions do not change as fast as upstream CentOS updates.
