When creating VMware templates, I try to set the password but they don't match

Issue

Sometimes when creating a template via the VMware console and trying to set the initial password you get a Passwords do not match error message.

Environment

OnApp with vCenter integration

Resolution

To resolve this you need to set:

keyboard.typematicMinDelay = "2000000"

Cause

If you are using a wide-area or low-bandwidth connection, the time delay over the network can cause the unintended repeated keystrokes.
