Why does my mouse not work normally on the console?

Answer
We have seen some situations where Windows VMs running on VMware have a problem with the mouse pointer misbehaving or moving slowly down and to the side.
Reinstalling the VMware tools should resolve this issue on the VM, in order to fix the template that has been created from it, ensure that sysprep will not change the installed drivers.
