Question
Sometimes the storageAPI gets stuck, preventing tasks from running. This can present itself as a number of errors.

OnApp 5.x, 6.x

Resolution
To restart a stuck storageAPI service, first you need to find the node that it's got stuck on. This can be done by finding the node ID in the failure log. Then, you can log into the HV and run "onappstore nodes" command. This will give you the IP for the node. Log into the node and run:
/etc/init.d/storageAPI restart
