Your virtual server password can consist of letters [A-Za-z], digits [0-9] and special characters. You can use both lowercase and uppercase letters.
Note: particular characters are not allowed for Windows-based virtual servers:
- percent sign [%]
- double quotation marks [“]
- brackets [<,>]
- vertical bar [|]
- caret [^]
- ampersand [&]
- parentheses [(,)]
Also, note that WHMCS and third-party software use XML requests while running OnApp API. The ampersand [&] is a special character in XML, therefore, it cannot be used.
