Can I Hot migrate Virtual Machines between Intel and AMD based Hypervisors?
Hot Migration fails on the Hypervisors with different CPU architectures.
Resolution
There is no workaround other than "cold migrate."
Cause
Hot Migration is only supported between the following CPU architectures:
AMD to AMD
Intel to Intel
