With the addition of Cloudboot, it may have become a little confusing which backup scheme can be used in which situation.
Answer
Cloudboot HV with Integrated Storage:
Cloudbooted Dedicated Backup Server
Virtual Backup Server
NFS (With mounts specified in Custom Config)
Static HV with Shared Storage:
Cloudbooted Dedicated Backup Server or Static Dedicated Backup Server
Virtual Backup Server
NFS (With mounts specified in /etc/fstab)
SSHFT (With IP specified in Settings > Configuration)
Static HV with Traditional Local Storage:
Cloudbooted Dedicated Backup Server or Static Dedicated Backup Server (OnApp >=6.1)
Virtual Backup Server
NFS (With mounts specified in /etc/fstab)
SSHFT (With IP specified in Settings > Configuration)
