Question
What are the HTTP configuration settings I can make for my customer's CDN sites?
Answer
HTTP Server Settings:
These are set on per CDN resource basis.
- Limit Rate (after) - limit the speed of any one request of a CDN resource. This is not a limit across the whole CDN resource but a limit per request.
- Read Time out/Connect Time out - Time out setting of a CDN resource when it connects to its origin. A lower timeout allows quicker recovery from a dead origin, but at the same time it will be more sensitive to performance fluctuation.
- Cache Key - set a cache key, which is how a request is stored and looked up in a cache.
