Streaming Storage Server is needed for VOD PUSH CDN Resource. Video files uploaded by the end users will be stored here. Streaming Storage Server can act as a "backup streaming edge" as a redundancy, therefore wowza license will be charged for streaming storage server.
To create a Streaming Storage Server, login to control panel, navigate to "CDN Storage Server", click on "Create Storage Server" and choose "Streaming".
The requirement for streaming storage server is 8GB ram, "big enough" hard disk for your users upload, 1 single public IP.
