We moved this page to our Documentation Portal. You can find the latest updates here. |
For VOD and Live Streaming resource, we do not require you to set a CNAME for the CDN hostname because the CDN hostname is not used. For example, if the cdn hostname is "cdn.domain.com", the video files are always served from "video.domain.com" as you can see in the CP instruction page.
The CDN hostname is used just for labeling purpose in the control panel.
In case the CDN hostname of a VOD/Live streaming resource is CNAME to xxx.r.worldcdn.net (where xxx is resource id), by default it will show the wowza version message when visitors access the CDN hostname.
