Question

What advanced settings are available for HTTP Push CDN Resources?

Answer 

IP Access

Modify a rule for access of any content of the resource for a range of IP addresses.

  • Access Policy – select Disabled to switch off a rule; otherwise switch between Allow by default/Block by default.
  • IP Addresses – input IP address(es)

Country Access

Modify a rule for access of any content of the resource for a country (s).

  • Access Policy – select Disabled to switch off a rule; otherwise switch between Allow by default/Block by default.
  • Countries – select a country for the rule. To select more than one country – hold Ctrl during selections.

Hotlink Policy

  • Hotlink Policy – select Disabled to switch off a hotlink policy; otherwise switch between Allow by default/Block by default.

URL Signing

Protect your files from unauthorized access with a key and optionally an expiration time. A signed URL looks like `http://example.com/filename?hash=DMF1ucDxtqgxwYQ==`.

  • Enable URL Signing – tick this checkbox to enable it
  • URL Signing Key – input the key, which will be used for URL signing

Password

  • Enable Password – tick this checkbox to restrict access to the resource (cdn hostname).
  • Unauthorized HTML – input the text which will be displayed for unauthorized login.
  • Username – input username.
  • Password – input password for the user.

Secondary CDN Hostname

  • User is capable of adding up to 7 Secondary CDN hostnames with the same origin. User can take advantage of parallel download to increase page loading speed. 

Pseudo Streaming

  • Enable FLV Pseudo Streaming - Tick this checkbox to enable FLV pseudo streaming
  • Enable MP4 Pseudo Streaming - Tick this checkbox to enable MP4 pseudo streaming (please note that the moov atom of the media file must come first in order)

Nginx Settings

  • Limit Rate - limit the speed of any one request of a CDN resource. This is not a limit across the whole CDN resource but a limit per request.
  • Limit Rate (after) - limit the speed of any one request of a CDN resource. This is not a limit across the whole CDN resource but a limit per request.
