Question
What is the difference between Cached and Non Cached statistic
Answer
Cached data - The content is available and cached in the edge server upon visitors request
Non-cached data - The content is not available/cached in the edge server upon visitors request. Edge server will then pull from the origin.
Regardless of cached or non-cached data, it refers to the data between edge server and end users only. It does not include the data in between edge server and origin.
To improve the cache and non-cache ratio:
- Reduce the edge locations of the CDN resource
- Increase the expiry period of the CDN resource
