XFS File System Crashes on CentOS 7

Issue

The XFS file system crashes on CentOS 7 compute resource/CP server/VS/backup server after a
graceful reboot.

 

Environment
CentOS 7.0, 7.1, 7.2 compute resource/CP server/VS/backup server

 

Resolution

  • Use CentOS 7.3 (with XFS 4.5) and up for new installations of the CP server, VSs, backup server or compute resources.
  • Perform a reinstall of CentOS 7.0, 7.1, 7.2 CP server, backup server, compute resources and VSs.
    The upgrade is not applicable, the reinstall is required.
